Itochu Team Pays a Visit to Dolefil

On May 19, 2022, Rey Doria, Vice President and Managing Director, DFL, and Hirokazu Takeyama, Agriculture Senior Manager, DFL, welcomed Hiroyuki Kaizuka, Food Company President and Managing Executive Officer, Itochu, and Hidehiro Tanabe, Agri Product Department General Manager, Itochu, together with them are Masumi “Max” Nishikage, DAH COO, Senior EVP, and Tetsuya Kitae, Senior Vice President, Fresh Produce Group, upon their arrival in Polomolok, South Cotabato.

More than to experience how the organizational processes are carried out on a day-to-day basis, the onsite visit allows the team to share their strategic contect with the DFL team. Lead by Carlos Rodriguez, Agriculture Operations Director, the DFL Agri Team showcased the different Agriculture activities and invited the visitors to also try doing some activities like planting and gouging. Similarly, Daxter Temones, Industrial Operations Director, spearheaded their tour around Cannery Operations.

DSI also showcased all the innovative products their team has been developing. Edgar Trazo, General & Admin Director, together with his team prepared cookies, brownies, smoothies, and other treats, where DSI products have been used and incorporated in the recipes. The two-day visit ended in the Biogas Plant where the visitors took a close look at the facility which was lead by Tristan Sotto, Engineering Services Director
