Dolefil Welcomes Itochu Food Safety and Compliance General Manager

Dolefil welcomed Mr. Daiju Hashimoto, Itochu’s Food Safety and Compliance General Manager. On March 4, 2023, Mr. Hashimoto had a brief orientation of Dolefil’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Programs – the first item on his agenda was a tree planting activity near Kalsangi Road, following the tree planting was a quick biodiversity walk near the plantation’s gullies in which the team explained the interdependency between biodiversity and Dolefil’s operations and how Dolefil ensures environmental protection.

From the environmental aspect of the walkthrough, Mr. Hashimoto has also witnessed the social aspect of Dolefil’s operations. Mr. Hashimoto met the members of the Barangay Cannery Community Nursery – Mr. Hashimoto was happy to see how Dolefil supports its external stakeholders and how the Company partners with the community with environmental protection through a strong social landscape. Last of Mr. Hashimoto’s agenda was a quick tour of the Dole Gawad Pag-IBIG (DGP) Housing, in which employees and their families welcomed the visitors in the new library through the Book Nook Project.

Overall, Dolefil’s CSR Programs received positive feedback from Mr. Hashimoto – a testament of Dolefil’s commitment in spreading Sunshine For All through the Dole Promises.
