Dolefil Continues to Support Local Farmers

In commitment of Dole’s Promise to creating shared value to all its stakeholders, Dole Philippines, Inc. continues to support local farmers through its food day area operating in both Dole Polomolok Cannery and Dole Upper Valley Operations. The Food Day area provides a win-win solution to both farmers and employees – farmers are given a venue to sell their locally grown products and have a captured market, while employees are given easier access to purchase cheap yet quality fruits and vegetables.

According to Bhong Sabuso, Chairman of the Food Day Market, they are very thankful to Dole Philippines, Inc. for giving them this opportunity and livelihood. Through the food day area they are able to provide the daily needs of their families and improve their quality of life.
