Dole Maramag Farm Celebrates 5th Anniversary

August 14, 2022 marks the 5^th year of Dole Bukidnon Fresh Fruits pineapple operations in Maramag, Bukidnon. To commemorate the anniversary, a Eucharistic Celebration was officiated by Rev. Fr. Nonoy Suarez. Afterwards, the new MODELO General Merchandise Building, the LMC’s livelihood arm was blessed which signified its formal business opening.

Following the Eucharistic Celebration is a short opening program. The MODELO President and Chair of the LMC Steering Committee, delivered his opening remarks.  The North Mindanao Farm Director Mr. Francis B. Babac gave the participants his motivational speech first, saying, “We can compete to the market even if we now have short volume of pineapple because our quality meets the demand of our clients.” This was followed by the giving of inspirational messages from trusted members of the industry. Members of LMC Steering Committee, Mr. Aldin Tabal, Mr. Rogel Buenafe the North Mindanao Human Resource Manager, Ms. April Globelle San Sebastian, and Maramag Farm Manager , Mr. Nick Medio, all delivered their inspirational messages to the workers.

The “Fellowship Game,” a competition between Teams A and B, is the next activity that all of the players are eagerly anticipating. Sports such as men’s basketball, men’s volleyball, men’s doubles and singles table tennis, and dart were the highlight of the said fellowship games followed team yells contest and parlor games. As seen by the smiles on their faces, indeed, this significant occasion is truly a success.
