Ridge to Reef Program Reaches Sinawal

On February 4, 2023, Dole Philippines, Inc. in partnership with the Barangay Local Government Unit of Sinawal, General Santos City and Mahintana Foundation Inc. through its Ridge to Reef Program, conducted a ceremonial tree growing activity on the identified location of the barangay for the conservation of watershed area in General Santos City. 20 volunteers from Dolefil participated in the said activity.

The team has planted 150 red lawaan and 50 narra seedlings. The activity aims to encourage employee participation in community engagement programs to build a social fence in areas where Dolefil operates and complement the Dole Promise of creating shared value to its stakeholders.
