Dolefil Observes National Disaster Resilience Month

In line with the the celebration of National Disaster Resilience Month 2022, the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council of Tupi, South Cotabato headed by Mayor Romeo Tamayo , MDRRMC Chairperson, Dole Philippines, Inc., PIO Tupi, PNP, BFP, Tupi, Barangay Council of Palian, Kasilak Foundation, Inc, Maguindanaon Development Foundation, Inc., and Disaster Responders conducted a tree growing activity dubbed as “Puno ng Katatagan” on July 26, 2022 at Barangay Palian, Tupi, South Cotabato. As part of the culminating activity, more than 400 hills of bamboos were planted along Palian River, Barangay Palian, Tupi, South Cotabato.

To date,  more than 9,500 hills of forest, fruit and bamboos were already planted through the CommuniTREE Program in partnership with the Local Government Unit in the Municipalities of Tupi, Tampakan and Malungon.
